Wow. What a great characterization of Sanzo. In fanfiction, it's always a losing battle to portray Sanzo as having emotions/a heart without making him overly cheesy and mushy, because those things are clearly OOC for him. You manage to portray his tangled emotions, and his desire to not feel them, just darkly and cleanly enough for his character. Fantastic.
