Footnotes: (because yes, I am that kind of Classical Studies/English major geek)

"Rosy-fingered dawn" -- stock epithet for daybreak in Homer's Odyssey (Richmond Lattimore translation, 1965).

"Who that hath an hed of verre, fro caste of stones war hym in the werre." Geoffrey Chaucer: Troilus and Criseyde, Book II, 867-868. (Baugh translation.)

Translated as: "They who have glass heads, should beware of casting stones in the war."

Modern: "People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones." Or variations thereupon.

Because Tenpou/Gonou/Hakkai is that geeky.

Lyrics:

breathe

save, save me from this

wandered 'round the town

all the thousand things i might miss

and you, think we'll suffer much

think we'll close our eyes

just to see the light

pass us by

when tomorrow coming

hope that i don't let you down again

saying "i'm so glad to be here"

doesn't mean a thing

if only i could breathe what you breathe

if only i could see what you see...

so sit, we'll take our time

watching the flowers grow

all the friends we know say goodbye

and you, did you suffer much?

did you close your eyes

just to see the night

rush on by

gathered all around you

hope that we don't let you down again

saying "i'm so glad to be here"

doesn't mean a thing

if only i could breathe what you breathe

if only i could see what you see

(instrumental bridge)

sayin' "i'm so glad to be here"

doesn't mean a thing

sayin' "i'm so glad to be here"

doesn't mean a thing

yeah, "i'm so glad to be here"

doesn't mean anything

if only i could breathe what you breathe

if only i could see what you see

if only i could just believe a thing
