A very blunt and frightening look at the abuse Gojyo endured from day one. Amazing work on the brisk style, first person and narrating, though never understanding the one-sided but perfectly clear story they're telling. My heart ached and that lump in my throat grew all throughout the piece. Fantastic work here.

I enjoyed this very much! Jien as a youngster toting baby Gojyo in his schoolbag is quite an image. Good job of having humorous moments and then revealing the sad causes behind them. Thanks for doing!
