Ahh! I've missed your stories. I am glad you decided to bring this one out.
Although dark and slightly macabre (as the original story also was) it was integrated well into the plot.
The newly mad Hakkai's thought processes are also quite believable, as part of the growing acceptance of what he has become. Although the self loathing will take a little longer.
You ended it in a good place ... gives you a little scope should you decide to extrapolate more on this! ^_^ - much love - me!
Author's Response: This was actually inspired by a story my friend Kiba-chan wrote, which was inspired by "Dreadful Little Cuts". So we came full circle. ^^; I can link you up to her story, if you're interested.
