I loved this so much.
This was a great AU. I adored Ataeko.
I love your Goyjo voice in this, and all the detail bits of humor - way to make a guy feel unappreciated, and his imaginary interview with the cops.
The broken cup made me whimper (in a good way) and I love how Goyjo’s looking at the floor and thinking her should have swept it ever.
I love how you show her growing up and Goyjo being awesome and the scene about how people could be stupid about a girl beating someone within an inch of their life.
Her description of Sanzo killed me, and I love her thinking of Goyjo as “sleazy-sweet.”

Aww, I can't stop smiling. That was just so good. What a neat idea to have Gojyo raise a half-breed child. It certainly is an interesting dynamic, and I'll bet they'd make a striking pair. ^-~ Wow, I'd love to see a more developed story here, even though it seems to be just a one shot. Oh well, I can dream! Anyway, your descriptions were lovely and every little scene had such an important impact. Wow, that was really great. I totally enjoyed it!
