I swear, it's impossible for you to write anything that isn't really really really (etc.) awesome. Gah, I'm jealous. ^_~ But yes, very nice. A few typos, but nothing worth going into a homicidal rage about. You do a more-than-fabulous job of keeping the characters... well, in character, and the humor is worth giggling out loud at (despite the funny looks I get). Yay for more stories from you! =D

Very interesting combination of lightheartedness, suspense, and initial dread when I didn't know how bad off Sanzo was. I loved the way you wrote the first part from Hakuryu's point of view. Unique! This looks like it's going to be interesting, and the warnings (chara. death!?) have me on the edge of my seat. Can't wait for more!

Author's Response: ^^ I'm glad you liked the opening. I wanted to do something different, and Hakuryu doesn't often get his own narrative voice. As for the warnings, well, I cannot comment, or else I might give something away. ._. I hope you like the rest of it as much as the opening.

Author's Response: Sanzo won't be waking up until a bit later, but for once, I think (not sure--the storyline's not entirely hammered out) he might actually be the central character in this particular tale. Gasp. o.O Anyhow, I can't promise kindness to--well, any of them, but I do hope that you'll forgive me for it and like the story anyhow. ^^;
