After many years of lying dormant, EftW will be closing its doors with effect from 31 July 2020. At that time, any existing data (including stories) will be destroyed.

Unfortunately, the code is incredibly broken and there is no simple solution to transfer ownership of the archive. If you have any stories that you love or which you own and would like to keep, I would advise that you download them and save them. If you are the author, you may wish to consider moving to Archive of Our Own.

It's been a long journey but we all need to get to the West some time! Thank you for joining me on this ride.
